New Views on Bacteria by K. A. Bisset, D.sc. of the University of Birmingham
A recent Science' Survey dealt with the idea of making germs work, that is, turning their activities to useful account. In this talk Dr. Bisset discusses the use of bacteria as tools in the study of physiology, biochemistry, and genetics, and the new and important ideas about the bacteria themselves that have arisen from a revolutionary change in our attitude toward' them.
