Just as influenced by Johnny Cash as John Coltrane , his music presents an intriguing mixture of country and New York jazz, and he has contributed songs to and recorded with singer Norah Jones. His current band line-up comprises
Gary Versace (hammond organ), Dan Weiss (drums) and alto saxophonist David Binney.
