As a curtain-raiser to the 100th season of the Proms, a portrait in words and music of Sir Henry J. Wood. The programme includes the voices of Wood's daughters Tania Cardew and the late Avril Wood, Eileen Calthrop, Lord Menuhin, Sidonie Goosens, Felix Aprahamian and Sir Henry himself. Presented by Arthur Jacobs.
