Miles Apart: USA: Harry Shearer

on BBC Radio 4 FM

3/3. Miles Kington interviews Harry Shearer, probably best known in the UK for his voice work on The Simpsons and as the moustachioed bass player Derek Smalls in the godfather of all spoof documentaries, This Is Spinal Tap. In the late 1960s he was part of a troupe of radio satirists, the Credibility Gap, and he still broadcasts a weekly satirical show from Los Angeles, called Le Show.
