The last in a season of films starring one of Hollywood's biggest box office names, tonight with Jack Warden, Will Sampson.

An ageing Wild Bill Hickok is haunted by a recurring dream about a great white buffalo rampaging across a snowy landscape. Returning west to join the gold rush in the Black Hills, the legendary gunfighter becomes involved in an obsessive quest for the last white buffalo in the world.
