Thomas Woodrow Wilson by Sigmund Freud and William C. Bullitt tbetween
SIR DENIS BROGAN
MELVIN J. LASKY and PETER LOMAS
!n the early 1930s Sigmund Freud collaborated with the American diplomat William C. Bullitt on a unique psychological study of the twenty-eighth President of the United States, in whom Freud was deeply interested and with whom Bullitt had worked at the Versailles Conference. This highly critical work was put away for thirty years and is now being published for the first time. Melvin Lasky , co-editor of Encounter, played a part in bringing the book to light, and tonight he discusses it with a student of American history and a psychoanalyst.
