I Was There: 1: Mary Ellis

on BBC Radio 3

The first of five programmes this week recalling great musical events and celebrities with the memories of first-hand witnesses and recordings of their music.

Richard Fawkes meets the original Rose Marie - and Ivor Novello's muse - who is 95 this month.
