Long Weekend

on BBC One London

An ecological horror movie from Australia, starring John Hargreaves, Briony Behets
In an attempt to save their failing marriage, Peter and Marcia decide to spend a weekend in a deserted beach area. Their only companions are the wildlife, and the vegetation on which they impose their "civilised" lifestyle. Gradually the forces of nature seem to fight back and the weekend turns into a nightmare fight for survival.
