A city-wide network of computer-linked detectors and vehicles have been prepared so that emergency services can react immediately to protect the city. The rapid response vehicles can instantly tap into the computer database from any affected area. Plus, Bob Symes tries out a clutch of inventions, including the convertible bicycle that sprouts a trailer for bulky loads.
