Thriller starring Ed Harris, Max von Sydow

Spring 1944. In the run up to D-day, American Gus Lang plays a dangerous game. A double agent for the Germans and the Allies, he is sent to occupied Paris to work on a captured US Army officer who has knowledge of the invasion plans. Constantly under observation, agent "Emerald" must keep his cover intact and prevent the soldier from revealing the secrets of D-day by whatever means necessary.
