Ella moved to Bristol to be closer to her boyfriend and his son six months ago, but is now so desperate for a place of her own she embarks on three "blind dates" with potential co-buyers to gauge their suitability. They are 36-year-old painter and lorry driver Eley; 31-year-old web designer and surfing fanatic Pi; and Richie, a 35-year-old retail manager with an eye for the cool things in life.
