Otto Schenk, a European armaments manufacturer, is determined to capture the Electronome, a mysterious machine by which the people of Hesikos send their thoughts through space. He plans to bring it back to Earth and use it as a means of stirring up war. Jeremy and his friends-along with Asa, the girl from the Lost Planet — decide to return to Hesikos to warn Solveg, Asa's father. They take off in the new ship built by Spike.
