The plot to blow up Parliament is believed to have been planned at the timbered gate-house at Ashby St. Ledgers, the Catesbys' home near Daventry. Other people concerned in the plot were staying at Coughton Court in Warwickshire. Julia Greenwood talks about these houses--and others linked with the conspirators.
