Dr. Kit Pedler talks to Elizabeth Gard and David Wilson
Dr. Pedler leads a double life: he is both a practising scientist and a writer of television scripts. He heads the electron-microscopy unit in the Institute of Ophthalmology of London University, but as a writer his main occupation has been Dr. Who. One of his main concerns is the social effects of scientific work, and this is among the subjects explored in tonight's conversation and in a new science fiction series for the BBC called Doomwatch.
