The Time of My Life

on BBC Radio 4 FM

David Franklin
One of the most memorable programmes recorded by the late DAVID FRANKLIN was his contribution to The Time of My Life series in 1968. HAROLD ROGERS interviewed David in his home near Evesham, where he talked of two significant periods in his life-the chain reaction which led to his success at Glyndebourne, and the throat operation which robbed him of his great singing voice at the height of his operatic career.
