META MURRAY (soprano) Haydn Fawcett is a member ot the celebrated Yorkshire family which holds the distinction of being one of the !argest musical families in England.
It is interesting to note that several members bear the names of famous composers as their Christian names. There is, for instance, Haydn himself, and his relatives Mendelssohn (clarinet), Verdi (violin), Weber (oboe), and Handel (double bass).
