Last week Mrs. Dale met Mrs. Ahmed, from Pakistan, a friend of Mn. Sandiman's, and invited her to tea. As Mrs. Sandiman was busy with official engagements Mrs. Dale offered to show Mrs. Ahmed some of the places of interest in London. John Graham invited Dr. and Mrs. Dale to view the Coronation procession from his Club. Mrs. Dale was not enthusiastic but the Doctor pressed her to do so Monument announced his intention to see the Coronation. Without consulting Miss Webb, Mr. Fulton asked Mrs. Mourrtford to play the part of Queen Anne in the Coronation pageant. Mollie Lambert returned to her flat for some clothes, and told Sheila that Geoffrey was no longer in love with her, and therefore she would not stay. Sheila begged her to change her mind but she was adamant, and went away.
