The 1920s was the golden age of musical theatre - Richard Rodgers and Lorenz "Larry" Hart, George and Ira Gershwin, Fred Astaire and Al Jolson were all forging careers as songwriters, producers and performers. But as the Jazz Age drew to a close, the industry suffered the double blow of talking pictures and the Wall Street Crash. Presented by Julie Andrews.
