Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family
Repeated on Tuesday at 11.15 a.m.
Productions by Betty Davies and Wyn Knowles
While Mrs. Freeman was baby-sitting for Henry the baby got his head stuck in the cot bars; Dr. Dale eventually freed him but, as the child was none the worse, no one said anything to Henry. Caradoc Owen went home for Whitsun; furious with David because of the way he'd behaved to Gwen, he called on David and knocked him down. Gwen took a job as companion to Mrs. Bartholomew a kindly eccentric who lived at Gimlet Green. Dr. Fenimore decided to retire and suggested that Ivor should take over his practice.
