Invasion of the Killer Mink
"Shoot them all ... blood-thirsty killers ... they kill other animals for the fun of it." This is often the countrymen's reaction to the subject of mink. There can hardly be a creature in Britain that is more hated.
During the making of the programme producer
Mark Jacobs had a hot line for people to ring in with reported mink attacks - he had 150 calls. An estimated 200,000 can now be found living in our countryside. All of them are descended from escapees of British fur farms. But is the reputation of this small weasel-like creature justified? Can we learn to live with the mink? Narrated by David Attenborough.
