The Other Half

on BBC One London

with John Pitman
The last of six love stories about six different couples. Victor and Marilyn
Since 1971 Victor Lownes , the 55-year-old former boss of Playboy, has had an on-off affair with retired bunny Marilyn Cole , who is 20 years younger. For the past two years they have been faithful and there is even talk of marriage. (Remember, you read it here first.)
For Marilyn, who used to work at the Co-op in Portsmouth, it's a bit like a modern
Cinderella story. An estate in Hertfordshire, a house in Chelsea and a millionaire who keeps her in a style to which she wasn't accustomed. But does she ever feel like a kept woman? 'Oh no, I don't, he doesn't give me enough money.'
A slyly amusing programme
