Librettist. Richard Rodgers was one of the most consistently successful composers of Broadway musicals, in partnership with his childhood friend Lorenz Hart and later with Oscar Hammerstein II. Music includes the last song Rodgers and Hammerstein wrote together, sung by Bryn Terfel , a number from Heads Up! sung by Dawn Upshaw , plus selections from The Boys from Syracuse (based on Shakespeare's Two Gentlemen of Verona) and Pal Joey.
