A recording of the world premiere production of this opera commissioned by the English Music Theatre Company and performed by them at tile Old Vic last month.
Set in 18th-century Japan, the opera tells the story of Yukinojo. a famous actor, and the revenge he exacts on the three men responsible for the death of his parents.
