It's Marty Feldman in Marty

on BBC One London

Written by Marty Feldman and Barry Took
Co-starring John Junkin, Tim Brooke-Taylor
with Roland MacLeod, Mary Miller, Dennis King

(First shown on BBC-2)

"One of the best things since the Marx Brothers..." This was just one of the comments from viewers to BBC audience researchers after Marty's series opened on BBC-2 in December. Marty, many thought, had never been better. One viewer said "They say laugh and grow fat. Well, I should be a stone heavier by now."
The programme was clever, fast-moving-and extremely funny. And viewers also thought that the zany, offbeat comic was given excellent support.
