When a parlourmaid is accused of shooting her lover at the home of her wealthy employer, Inspector Clouseau is assigned to the case. His unusual - and blundering - methods leave a trail of unsolved murders in his wake and drive his superior to distraction.
The film that marked Peter Sellers's second appearance as Inspector Clouseau, the supremely incompetent French detective first seen in The Pink Panther.
