Home on Sunday

on BBC One London

Cliff Michelmore begins a series of six summer journeys to meet well-known people at home on Sunday. He travels north to
Scarborough to meet his first host, the actor and director
Lionel Jeffries , currently on location filming A Chorus of Disapproval.
Lionel talks to Cliff about his strict Salvation Army upbringing, and how he decided in his 20s to become a Roman Catholic, after his experiences in the war. He chooses some of his favourite religious music, including Panis Angelicus,
Ave Maria and The Lord's My Shepherd. It is sung by the CHOIR OF FARNBOROUGH ABBEY conducted by ANTHONY NOBLE
