Steve Swallow/John Abercrombie
Another chance to hear two memorable performances. Bassist Steve Swallow has worked with Mike Gibbs and is a long-time member of various Carla Bley bands.
Appearing with Steve are Chris Potter (tenor saxophone), Barry Ries (trumpet), Mike Goodrick (guitar) and Adam Nussbaum (drums). Plus hugely influential guitarist and ECM stalwart John Abercrombie with an innovative quartet featuring violinist Mark Feldman, organist Dan Wall and drummer Adam Nussbaum.
