When Lena Canada joins the staff at Brown House, a home for handicapped children, she is immediately drawn to the enigmatic Karen - a seriously ill 15-year-old who refuses to respond or communicate. Lena's concern and dedication finally breaks through when Karen admits to her most personal secret - an obsession with Elvis Presley. Lena helps the young girl write to her idol. featuring the children and teachers from the DR GORDON TOWNSEND SCHOOL of Calgary, Canada.
