The Arab Outlook
2: The State of Confrontation
More than three years after the last Arab-Israeli war, there is still little sign of any movement towards an overall settlement in the Middle East. What role do they expect the United States and the Soviet Union to play in the search for a permanent peace? Can the outstanding problems be solved without resort to another war?
