Her Majesty The Queen, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, together with other members of the Royal Family, attend a service in Westminster Abbey to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the ending of the Second World War.
Also in the congregation are representatives of the armed forces and of over 700 organisations from national life in peace and war. With them are leading politicians and, from all over the world, diplomats and Christian leaders.
The service is conducted by the Dean of Westminster, The Very Rev
