Globetrotter

on BBC One London

with Cliff Michelmore and Jeanne la Chard
Lome and Lawrence Blair grew tired of living in a city so they sailed away on a ' bougie ship', which took them to the remote islands of Indonesia where they searched for the Bird of Paradise. Lome spent his time with the Asmat tribe in New Guinea, the reputed cannibals amongst whom Governor Rockefeller's son was last seen alive. Dr Horace Dobbs , one of Britain's pioneers of underwater photography, recently made an extraordinary voyage on an Arab dhow into the wilds of the Musandam peninsula.
