HANNIBAL IN ITALY

The author of this programme travelled four thousand miles in Spain, France, and Italy following Hannibal's probable route. Last week's programme described Hannibal's crossing of the Alps. This programme retells the dramatic story of Hannibal's sixteen-year campaign against the Romans in Italy, where he never lost a battle, yet failed in his ultimate objective.
