This final programme of performances recorded live in the Great Hall of Amsterdam's Concertgebouw features music conducted by the orchestra' s present music director Riccardo Chailly. Jonathan Swain talks to him about the orchestra's well-known Mahler tradition that stretches back to when Mahler himself conducted his own music with the orchestra.
