Trotsky In Finland by LESTER POWELL
The play Is based, somewhat loosely, on an episode in the life of Leon Trotsky. In October 1905 he escaped from the Russian Secret Police and went to earth In an hotel deep in the woods of South East Finland. He assumed the pseudonym of E. M. Vikentiev , a landowner reputed to be worth 93-million roubles. The only other guests in the hotel were a Swedish playwright and his wife, an English actress.
