This first play of the series was made in Britain by the BBC. 1: Chances for the Children by BRIAN PHELAN
The April 1975 budget seems the final straw to Bill Parker. The family budget will have to be tightened yet again and even his job may be threatened. But where can he go that will be any different? And how can he convince his family that they should leave everything, behind and begin all over again in a new country?
