GODFREY KENTON Claydon is an 18-century house in Buckinghamshire, famous for its elaborate rococo carvings and for the Verney Papers which record the everyday history of the family during the Civil War. Florence Nightingale's sister married into the family, and for a period in her old age The Lady with The Lamp made it her home for a part of each year.
