Detention for Questioning
Michael Zander , Professor of Law at the London School of Economics, argues that a recent Court of Appeal decision appears to make legal for the first time the common police practice of detaining suspects for questioning prior to arrest. He contends that the decision is wrong, both in law and in principle.
