Tom O'Connor

on BBC One London

This week's programme is devoted to the Arts.
Tom's career in the arts came to an abrupt halt at the tender age of 8, when the council tarmacked over his pavement drawings and crushed his sticks of chalk! Undaunted by this early setback, he enlists the help of CHRIS EMMETT (thespian and bar), CAROLINE GRUBER (MA macrame), JEFF STEVENSON (one-line speciality act) and MICK WALKER (a black country classics reader), to take a backwards glance at the arts. Impressionist comedienne Jessica Martin is Tom's house guest, and the team, together with the public at large, airs its cultural views.
