Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family
Script by Hazel Adair
' During the absence of Douglas Burbidge caused by illness
Bob heard that Jenny intended to give up her job; he travelled to Wales and persuaded her to change her mind and come back to London with him. Jenny's father was very angry at this interference and refused to give his consent to their engagement. Bob told his parents all about Jenny and himself. Elaine and Philip Beel were married and most of the Dale family went to the wedding Sir Bernard refused to tell Angela that Bob did not love her because he feared the effect this would have on her at the vital time when she first tried to walk. Jenny finally gave up her job and went back to Wales to look after her mother; she asked Sally to break the news to Bob after her train had left.
