The long-awaited seventh edition of the world-famous New Grove Dictionaryof Music and Musicians will be published tomorrow. With over 29,000 entries the new dictionary has 29 volumes (including an index) - nine more than the edition of 1980. It will also be available in a constantly updated online version via an internet subscription service. Today Ivan Hewett discusses this landmark publishing event with composer
