This is the sixth of a series of programmes on West Country houses. Coker Court, Somerset, played an important part in the Royalist cause during the Civil War and is associated with many great names in English history-Sir Walter Raleigh ; Dampier, the explorer ; Sir William Chambers , architect of Somerset House ; the poet Shelley and his lovely cousin Harriet Grove.
