in memories of his stage career, including scenes from The Corn is Green, Night Must Fall, and The Light of Heart
Emlyn Williams was born in a small Welsh village, and spoke no language other than Welsh until he was nine years old. He has been heard on the air in his play The Corn is Green and twice in We Are Not Alone. In June this year he broadcast a striking performance in I Was Hitler's Prisoner, and not very long ago gave a talk on the feelings of a Welshman who lives and works in England. Recently he has given two talks in the 'Postscript' series and broadcast as the King in Hamlet.
