by John Pudney , presented by Stephen Potter
John Pudney , novelist, poet, newspaper columnist, one-time radio writer and producer, now with the R.A.F., has just published ' Dispersal Point ', a collection of twenty-five poems on and for the men of the Royal Air Force. While some of the poems are entirely lyrical, others bear the stamp of the trained journalist concerned only with the topical idiom and the topical event. One poem called ' Jack Overdue ' has been set to music.
Pudney will be best remembered by many listeners for such radio plays as Uncle Arthur and Edna's Fruit Hat.
