Despite a bad-weather warning, young soldier Jim Stolpa is determined to travel 1,000 miles to attend his grandmother's funeral in Idaho. Days later, stranded in deep snow in the mountains with his wife and five-month-old son, Jim must make a decision to go for help or hang on for an unlikely rescue. (1993)
