Opening Night at the National

on BBC One London

Earlier this evening Her Majesty the Queen opened the new National Theatre on the South Bank. THE QUEEN unveiled the official plaque, listened to the speech of welcome from Lord Olivier, and the evening finished with a spoken epilogue by Peter Hall , Director of the National.
