Reiner in Chicago
The Hungarian-born conductor Fritz Reiner was Music Director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra from 1953 to 1962.
Jonathan Swain , with the help of those who knew and worked with Reiner, presents a selection of recordings made during the 1950s and 1960s, and finds out more about this controversial figure.
