The Moche built huge pyramids and produced exquisite jewellery during their rule of the northern coast of Peru 2,000 years ago. Yet, until recently, despite other great achievements, little was known of this epic civilisation that simply "vanished". Over the last three decades, scientists and archaeologists have returned to Peru to piece together the Moche's history - only now can they reveal a torrid story of natural disasters and human sacrifice. Narrated by Bernard Hill. (AD)
