Glastonbury Festival
Jez Nelson hosts an edition live from the Jazz Lounge tent at the Glastonbury Festival. Danish-born saxophonist John Tchicai plays selections from his 2006 album John Tchicai with Strings, which pitches his virtuosic improvisations against a composed background of electronic samples. Also on the bill are the quartet Empirica. Described by Courtney Pine as "the most exciting jazz band to come out of the UK," the line-up includes Jay Phelps (trumpet),
