In Stowmarket, Charlie and the Rich brothers face one of their hardest ever garden rescues as they have to turn a total concrete jungle into a family-friendly back garden.
After a career serving all over the world, army veteran Jason, his wife Esther and their four children have finally put down roots, but the trouble is, their garden literally has no roots - it's little more than a concrete car park. It is the ultimate test for Charlie and the Rich brothers, Harry and David.
The couple have a budget of £3,000 to try to create a space where they can enjoy sitting out as a family, enjoying a quiet cup of tea or a family BBQ. The military is a big part of this family's life as Jason was in the army for 23 years, so one specific request is that the garden features some remembrance poppies. Other than that they are happy to leave themselves in the hands of the experts, but what will Charlie and the Rich brothers come up with in the face of such a difficult makeover?
After the rival pitches, which of their two designs will Jason and Esther pick, and will they ever be able to complete the transformation from concrete wasteland to peaceful, poppy-filled, pretty family space? Show less
