Tha Ruairidh Alastair MacIllFhinnein a'sgrùdadh ceist aois bhòtaidh ann am Breatainn: am bu chòir ìsleachadh gu 16? Aig sia-bliadhn'-deug faodaidh daoine smocadh, pòsadh, dhol dhan Arm agus thig orra cis-cosnaidh a'phàigheadh - ach chan fhaod iad bhòtadh ann an Taghadh Pàrlamaid.
Tha am Proifeasar lagha Sir John Curtice ag innse do Ruairidh Alastair mun rannsachadh a rinneadh thuige seo; tha cuideachd dà bhall de Phàrlamaid na h-Alba a'bruidheann air an siostam ann a Holyrood, agus a'toirt am beachdan fhèin air an atharrachadh aoise a chuir an sàs air feadh Bhreatainn.
Ruairidh Alastair MacLennan investigates whether or not the voting age in the UK should be lowered to 16. At 16 people can get married, smoke, join the army and pay taxes, yet they are not allowed to vote in general elections.
Professor John Curtice tells Ruairidh Alastair about the research that has been done, and two MSPs talk about the system at Holyrood and if they think the change should and could happen UK-wide. Show less
